A Day Off, Shopping, and a New Anime

Today was my day off, so my wife and I went out shopping.
We stopped by a secondhand store to look for items that overseas users might be interested in, and in the afternoon, we watched a new anime.

It’s called “The Elusive Samurai” — a story that takes place after the fall of Japan’s Kamakura shogunate.
After watching a few episodes, all I could really feel were the emotions of human greed, curiosity, and cruelty.
But still, I think it’s going to be an interesting show as the story unfolds.

There were even scenes that made me think, “If this were modern times, people would definitely have a mental breakdown,”
but the mix of humor keeps it from feeling too heavy.

I think I’ll keep watching it little by little.
