Over the past few days, I’ve been learning how to handle international shipping for overseas customers.
Depending on the country, package size, and product type, I’ve decided to use a combination of DHL and EMS for now. I’ll use EMS for Asian countries and DHL for other regions.
Today, I registered a DHL account as an individual. Once sales increase, I plan to re-register as a sole proprietor.
You never really understand international shipping until you actually experience it yourself.
Once my account is ready, I’ll connect Shopify with DHL through an app called Ship&Co.
Once that’s set up, I can finally start selling overseas—so exciting!
When I get used to this, I’ll register with other courier services as well.

ここ数日海外のお客様に向けての発送方法を学んだ。
国や商品の大きさ、種類にもよるが、
今回はDHLとEMSを組み合わせる発送方法にしようと思う。
アジア圏にはEMSを利用し、他の国はDHLを利用しようと思う。
今日はDHLにアカウントを個人で登録をし、
販売数が増えてきたら個人事業主で登録しなおす予定です。
まずは海外発送というものがどういったものか経験しないとわからない。
アカウントが作成できればshopifyのship&coというアプリでshopとDHLが紐づけできるようだ。
それが出来ればいよいよ販売開始できるぞー！！
慣れてきたら他のクーリエサービスも登録していこう。
